The Story of the CCC
Below are some links that examine the history of the Consortium of Collective Consciousness as it began as an artist warehouse and morphed into many different significant projects. A website has been developed by roomate Paul Seymour that explores the many faces of the Virtual CCC warehouse as we remember it. Looking back, it is truly remarkable to see all the activities and good times we shared in that funky warehouse on Howard Street.

The Consortium of Collective Consciousness was started in Feburary, 1995 by four friends who met in Goa, India while traveling the previous year. Our influence was "Goa Trance" electronic dance music, and some truly amazing dance parties were held in the CCC warehouse. The CCC closed in May, 2001 due to a greedy landlord hoping to cash in on the current dotcom boom. He didn't cash in, but we were evicted nonetheless. Life goes on ...
Two projects Brad Olsen was directly involved with in the CCC warehouse days include the creation of the World Peace Through Technology Organization (WPTTO) and the group's main project, the annual How Weird Street Faire, held in April or May every year since 2000.
